Salary: £40-60k + bonus

This position is managing a team of 40 telephone based sales professionals (office and hybrid workers) via Team Leaders. The company invest in people development, incentives, have a strong culture and an impressive ability to attract and retain people at all levels – all which will make this role easier in comparison to similar roles with other companies!
You’ll be fully responsible for the department and it’s performance, embedding values, driving a positive culture– and it’s growth! The company have proven sales and reporting processes, embrace tech to make them efficient/effective and have a strong induction and training plans – but are very open to these being developed.
This role sits on the SLT of a fast growing SME which has enjoyed year on year growth. The SLT are an equal mix of male and female professionals from diverse backgrounds, led by a visionary MD. As a team they are great to work with professional, funny, supportive, ambitious, caring and challenging.
The person we’re looking for has experience managing a large sales team via team leaders and has a proven track record when it comes to driving sales performance within a SME/fast growth business.
This person will also be a caring/supportive/inspirational people manager who can also make tough decisions or deliver bad news when needed. Someone who will contribute ideas and drive change, where needed.
Our preference is that applicants have experience in a telephone based sales environment, however please still apply if the role appeals and you believe you have transferrable skills gained in another aspect of sales or customer service.
Salary range is 40-60k + incentive linked to personal and team performance. Good benefits package.
