Our client is a fast growing organisation with exciting plans for the next 3 years – which we can’t say too much about at this stage! Led by a warm, but bold, MD you’ll be joining a focused, professional and hugely likeable team of professionals as they set about growing the business to the £12M T/O mark and establish themselves as the ‘go to and innovator’ in their industry. Work is fun and creative – in the words of the MD.

Bringing marketing in-house is the next stage of their plan and they’re looking for a ‘generalist’ who comes from a service background, build a marketing function and to lead this part of their transformation. It’s essentially a blank slate at the moment so one of your first jobs will be to immerse yourself in the plans and start to pull together a strategic plan. You’ll be both strategic and responsible for delivery – but with a view to growing a team around you longer term (there is already a design team in place!)

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing (Marketing Manager/Senior Marketer) who has a generalist background with a digital bent, someone who’s focused on ROI as opposed to activity for the sake of it. Their audience are global decision makers within the ‘Human Capital’ space.  It would help if you’d work in a fast growing business or start up/scale up – and a tech background would be great but not essential. This is much more about skills, attitude and values fit for them. The MD is someone who’s  known to hire on potential.

The role is essentially home based although the company do have an office near Plymouth (other offices in London and 1 other location) and would want to see you in person from time to time!
