If you’re a recruitment consultant looking for your next opportunity and think you’ve got what it takes to set up and run an agency – but want to do that in a ‘safe’ way – it would be worth reading more about this role.

On behalf of our client we’re looking for an experienced ‘360’ recruitment professional who can demonstrate consistent billing and is comfortable with the sales aspect of the ‘normal’ consultants role and has the ambition to launch a new function, sit on a Senior Leadership Team, build/lead a team – and be accountable for delivering against budget.

My client is an ambitious SME with a strong/successful track record in outsourced sales/lead generation, helping companies with their customer acquisition strategy (both sales and marketing) as well as delivering on outbound campaigns. Much of their client base sits within the Tech/SaaS start up market and they’ve found themselves supporting clients set up in-house capability when it comes to outbound sales and the recruitment of sales people – and also being asked to recruit. This has led to the launch of a new recruitment arm specifically SDR recruitment into the SaaS market.

The role could be based in Exeter at the existing office – or one of the bigger cities in the UK. The company’s client based are largely in London, which could therefore be a good base, but there will be an expectation of some time with the Leadership team in Devon, as required, for strategic conversations.

They have a warm client base and active vacancies – but you’ll be expected to win new business outside of this.

You’ll be expected to put process, systems and people in place, in addition to managing the end to end process of recruitment.

There is budget to hire a team immediately.

We’re looking for ‘star potential’ which is more important than number of years worked in the industry/a recruiter role. It would be great if you have/do work in permanent sales recruitment but we’re open to exploring anyone who thinks they have a suitable background.
